Carolee Schneemann

Fue una artista visual estadounidense conocida por sus discursos sobre el cuerpo, la sexualidad y el genero. Su obra explora la investigación de la cultura visual, el tabú y el cuerpo individual en relación al cuerpo social. Su obra ha sido expuesta ha sido expuesta en el Museo Whitney de Arte Contemporaneo, The New Museum, el Centro Georges Pompidou, entre otros. Es la recipiente del premio Lifetime Achievement Award otorgado por The College Art Association.
