Jeannie Moser is doing research in the area of literary and cultural studies. Currently she is working on the epistemology, politics and poetics of mistrust. She has published on the rhetoric and poetics of knowledge and is particularly interested in the relation between science, art, and literature, as well as in the anthropology of intoxication in the history of experimentation. She is author of the book Psychotropen: Eine LSD-Biographie (2013) and co-editor of the anthologies Verhaltensdesign. Technologische und ästhetische Programme der 1960er und 1970er Jahre (2018), Lesen. Ein Handapparat (2015), and Wissen: Erzählen. Narrative der Humanwissenschaften (2006). Among her published essays are „Neurochemical Selves an Mind-Altering Techniques: The Legacy of LSD“ (2019) and “Agents of Alternative Realities” for the exhibition catalog of Cerith Wyn Evans The What If? … Scenario (after LG) at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary (2013).
