Julieta Aguinaco

Nació en la Ciudad de México en 1983 y actualmente vive en La Paz, Baja California Sur. Su práctica indaga en las relaciones entre paisaje, memoria y conocimiento y se interesa por pensar en lo que resulta del acto de medir y categorizar las ideas y las cosas. Es egresada de La Esmeralda y el Dutch Art Institute, donde cursó una maestría en praxis artística.

Julieta Aguinaco was born in Mexico City in 1983 and currently lives in La Paz, Baja California. Her practice looks into the relationships between landscape, memory and knowledge. She has a strong interest in thinking about what results of the act of measuring and categorizing ideas and things. She studied at La Esmeralda and The Dutch Art Institute, where she coursed an MFA in artistic praxis.
