Rodrigo García Bonillas

Escribe ensayo y poesía. Nació en Veracruz, en 1987. Estudió en la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la UNAM, donde se abocó a estudiar la obra del poeta José Gorostiza. Recibió las becas de la Fundación para las Letras Mexicanas y de Jóvenes Creadores del Fonca, ambas en el área de ensayo. Se dedica a escribir sobre cultura Rusa (por la que siente una fuerte inclinación), las bestias y el insomnio. Ahora cursa una maestría en Letras e investiga la recepción de los poetas rusos en México.

Rodrigo Garcia Bonillas writes poetry and essays. He was born in Veracruz, Mexico in1987 and currently lives in Mexico City. He studies literature and philosophy in the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where he centered on the work of the poet Jose Gorostiza. He was the recipient of the Foundation of Mexican Literature scholarship in the essay category. He centers his writing around Russian culture, the concepts of bestiary and insomnia. He is currently investigating the reception of Russian poets in Mexico, during his master studies.
