Shellyne Rodriguez

Es una artista visual de origen afro-caribeño establecida en Nueva York. Utiliza la pintura, el dibujo y la técnica mixta para explorar conceptos raciales, de clase y de condición social. Su trabajo se centra en estructuras mentales americanas dentro del contexto del capitalismo, el evangelismo secular, y el fanatismo hacia las celebridades fundado por el gobierno.

Shellyne Rodriguez is a visual artist of Afro-Caribbean origin based in New York. She uses painting, drawing and mixed media to explore concepts of race and class. Her work focuses on American mental structures within the context of capitalism, secular evangelism, and the fanatical admiration towards celebrities founded by the government.
